Here with four blades, red piping, pom-pom and lining, is the Biretta of a Doctor of Sacred Theology. Red is the Pontifical University colour of Theology Faculties; other colours include pink, and purple. Naturally we’re looking forward to making them all as soon as we can.
The academic biretta is very common in Italy! They make it in different colors according the faculty the student belongs to.
