Bespoke Clerical Millinery for the Discerning Clergyman

im•pugn/imˈpyo͞on/

Now, seems of late we’re coming in for a bit of what we call stick, here, for some of our postings. I would like to point out the following, said with gentleness and love:

1. Every biretta on this blog was made with love and devotion and in the foreknowledge or belief that such a thing existed already and was in use at some point, or if it didn’t or wasn’t then it probably should be frankly.

2. We have been accused of ‘fantasy’. We hereby counter-accuse our accusers of illiteracy. Have you read all about the Camouflage biretta? With the bit lifted from the A-team about a crack-team of wanted nuns? Really? Fantasy is, frankly, what we’re all about. A bit.

3. Some of you people really take this much too seriously. John 11:35.

  1. Well, I for one thoroughly enjoy your posts. I also have to say how well made the birettas are and know from personal experience that they are made from the best materials.
    Keep up the good work!

  2. I second Andrew's comment. And I do take myself too serious sometimes. Need to lighten up a bit.

  3. Yes, keep up the good work - visiting your blog always makes my day brighter (especially with that Aquarian Biretta!). Some people just need to get their sense of humour dusted down...

  5. I love the birettas, although I am not old enough to remember them. I also love the pictures on this site that have only boy servers on the altar. I also love the old church, where the Tabernacle was the CENTER of the altar. God help us all we need to go back to everything old in our church to get out the corruption.
    God Bless

  6. I think that this site is a much needed breath of fresh air in what can be a sometimes stuffy house.

Thanks for your humor, thanks for your contribution, knowing that some will never be worn, knowing that most SHOULD be worn.

I've learned somethings I didn't know about ecclesiastical habedashery....

    KUDOS!!
